Dr Hadi Manji, Consultant Neurologist at The Physicians’ Clinic, has been involved in the care of patients with the neurological complications since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In October 2023 , Dr Manji was invited to give a plenary lecture at the World Congress of Neurology in Montreal on the “Neurology of Pandemics” – this lecture included Covid-19, the influenza pandemic of 1918 as an examplar for covid 19, HIV/AIDS and Zika virus ,which although is not a problem at present in the UK, is still on the WHO list of potential pandemic viruses.

We previously reported that Professor Anthony Warrens (Consultant Nephrologist at The Physicians’ Clinic) was setting up a branch medical school of Barts in Malta. Professor Warrens now reports that last month he graduated the first class of students in Malta.
