State-of-the-art diagnosis and rapid results

At The Physicians’ Clinic, you’ll find clear answers about your health with a full range of state-of-the-art diagnostic tests. Whether you need a simple scan, a specialist procedure or detailed imaging, our expert team uses the latest technology to deliver accurate results quickly.

In fact, we can often arrange a CT scan or an X-ray on the day of their consultation, giving you peace of mind or fast access to the treatment they need.

“Diagnostic tests” is a broad term for medical investigations that help us understand what’s happening in your body. They may involve scans or imaging to look inside, or blood and tissue tests to assess how your organs are working.

Most diagnostic tests, such as scans or blood tests, are painless and non-invasive. Some procedures may cause mild discomfort, but your care team will explain exactly what to expect and ensure you’re as comfortable as possible throughout. Sedation or anaesthesia can also be used for certain procedures to make the experience an easier one for you.

The time it takes to receive your results depends on the type of test, but we aim to provide answers as quickly as possible.

That means some results are available the same day, while others may take a few days if we need to carry out particularly detailed analysis. Rest assured we’ll let you know when to expect your results and discuss the next steps with you as soon as possible.
