Your pathway to rapid care

When you're unwell, waiting isn't always an option. Our rapid access clinic is here to provide expert medical care in a calm and supportive environment, when you need it most. From the moment you’re referred, we’ll make sure everything moves smoothly, so you receive the care you need as quickly as possible:

01

Appointments when you need them

Whether your referral comes from your GP, consultant or the HCA UK Concierge Centre, our aim is to offer same- or next-day appointments with one of our consultants in Acute and General Medicine. When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our team in calm, reassuring surroundings, where we’ll guide you through the process, confirm your details, and ensure everything is in place. You’ll have all the time you need to explain your symptoms and discuss any concerns you may have.

02

Immediate tests (if needed)

If your consultant recommends tests, such as bloods, ECG, X-rays or MRI, we can often arrange for these to be carried out on the same day, with results typically available within 24 to 48 hours.

03

Follow-up care or hospital admission

Your consultant will talk you through the results and next steps. If you need further treatment, specialist referral or admission to hospital, we’ll help coordinate this quickly and seamlessly, making sure you’re informed and supported at every stage.
