You’ll have access to tests that detect early signs of bowel cancer, helping to identify concerns before symptoms appear and giving you the best chance for successful treatment.

Bowel cancer surveillance

We offer regular monitoring for those at higher risk, giving reassurance or ensuring early detection and treatment if changes are detected.

Gastroscopy (OGD)

This camera test examines the oesophagus, stomach and upper small intestine to find causes of pain, reflux or other digestive problems you may be experiencing.

Upper GI endoscopy

Flexible sigmoidoscopy

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

A specialised procedure used to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the bile and pancreatic ducts.

Cholangioscopy

A procedure that gives us a direct look inside the bile ducts, allowing for an accurate diagnosis and precise treatment for complex conditions.

Polypectomy

A procedure to remove bowel polyps during endoscopy, helping to prevent the development of cancer and supporting long-term bowel health.

This procedure allows us to remove larger or more complex bowel polyps, lowering cancer risk while avoiding more invasive surgery.

Stretta endoscopic anti-reflux procedure

A minimally invasive treatment used to ease acid reflux, reduce symptoms and improve everyday wellbeing.

Fibroscanning

A procedure that measures liver stiffness to detect scarring early, allowing timely care to protect long-term liver health.

CT scanning

We have access to a high-definition CT scanner that uses low dose X-rays to produce a detailed image. This is particularly important when performing screening tests, such as cardiac imaging.

MRI scans

We have access to a high-definition CT scanner that uses low dose X-rays to produce a detailed image. This is particularly important when performing screening tests, such as cardiac imaging.

Liver function tests

A series of simple blood tests that assess liver performance, helping us to detect issues early and support your health and guide your care.

Anti-bleeding therapy

This quick treatment is carried out during an endoscopy to stop gastrointestinal bleeding safely, reducing risks and preventing complications.

Stricture dilation

A procedure to gently widen narrowed areas in the digestive tract, improving swallowing or bowel function and easing discomfort.

Enteral stenting

Stents are placed in the digestive tract to relieve blockages and restore normal digestive function.

Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)

A simple procedure to place a feeding tube directly into the stomach, ensuring you get the nutrition you need when eating by mouth isn’t possible.

Percutaneous Endoscopic Jejunal (PEJ) feeding tube insertion

Naso-jejunal tube insertion

A naso-jejunal tube is a soft, temporary feeding tube passed through the nose into the small intestine, ensuring you get the nutrition you need when eating isn’t possible.
